What Super Bowl?

I know, I know, many of you are excited about today being Super Bowl Sunday. And I'm happy for you. It just isn't important to me. I've never enjoyed sports (real life or otherwise), but I can see, sort of, why a lot of people do enjoy them. I hope your favorite team wins tonight and you enjoy being with friends who love football too. To be honest, the only thing I would enjoy is all the yummy food. I might could pretend to be interested in who's winning. Please don't be offended if you are a Super Bowl Super Fan. I'm just not.

I'll sit and eat with you - and turn the game down low.

Seconded. Once a member asked which sports one loved most and I wrote that this was a strange question as there were members who loved no sports. He was dumbfounded and asked me if I were serious. He had always thought that everybody loved sports. Well, one more illusion gone belly-up.

I am not a sports fan either. Here in Riga, Latvia they have some bars holding Superbowl parties.

The only sport I kind of liked was NASCAR, but not so much now.

Dont see why anyone would be offended. Many people don't like football, or sports in general. I don't really care for football myself. But like about 5 teams and can sometimes get into it.

The only big sporting event I really get excited about would be the Olympics. I am a great fan of athletics.

I am not watching this year. Last year ticked me off how rigged it was towards the Patriots. And it is looking like the same thing will happen this year.

I am in the same boat as you are. I think that a lot of people are craving the need for some socialization and good food. Afterall, its been about 6 weeks since Christmas and its a little more then that until Easter. So Superbowl gets the center stage today for many in the US. I don't really go in for football either, but I'm not opposed to it either. Enjoy your Sunday.
