Created a poll on Virily about steak

On Virily, I used to only create quizzes. Recently, I discovered Polls, so decided to try my hand at that. First poll I did was about the upcoming Academy Awards. This earned me a Poll Maker badge. I was surprised when I got that because from what I remember it took more than one published quiz for me to get the Quiz Maker badge. I just created a second poll there. I thought about what topic to choose and couldn't come up with anything. Then I started thinking about that juicy piece of steak and that ended up being the topic of my poll. Of course, I couldn't create the poll without uploading a picture. I went to Pixabay first but then thought that I probably have my own picture of a piece of steak somewhere. Went to my Facebook albums to see if there was anything there and there it was, a juicy piece of rib-eye staring at me. That ended up being my featured image for the poll. Why use someone else's image when I have my own?

I always say I should join Virily but I haven't yet. I wish I didn't delete pictures as often as I do, it's nice to have a personal gallery somewhere.

You can actually create a gallery on there. I have not done this but I would assume you'd have to include some text along with the images you upload. I like the site so far. You get to create and take polls and quizzes, which I enjoy. You earn badges. And you earn virils which get translated into dollars, so you make some money as well. And unlike bitLanders, the site is easy to understand. The one thing I am not a fan of is this. If you make a typo or mistake on something already published you can't fix it on your own right away. You have to contact the site and either ask them to fix it for you or have them put the published item in draft so you can fix it yourself and resubmit for approval.

@lovebuglena So you need to double or triple check before submitting, but yes, that sounds like plenty of fun!

@sabtraversa My latest quiz I created, someone left a comment letting me know two of my questions had the wrong answer selected as the correct answer. I didn't know there was anything wrong. I had to get it fixed but it took time for that to happen, which I hated. If I find an error I want it fixed right away, without having to contact the site and wait for them to reply to me, so this can be sorted out. It was easier a bit when I found a typo in a poll I created. They fixed the issue after I contacted them and it took a shorter amount of time for the change to be made it seems. Although I wasn't really keeping track.

Never created quizzes but I can imagine they must be fun to do especially when you get rewarded for it.

They are fun for sure, both to take and create. Can be a bit frustrating creating them though. Last quiz I created I would type in one of the answers to a certain question but it wouldn't post and I had to try endless times before the answer finally posted. And it was like that pretty much with every question. I was ready to quit on it. But I stuck it out because I really wanted to publish the quiz.

Makes sense to me. I hope the poll does well.

I try to always use my own photos - and for myLot purposes I consider my husband's photos as 'mine'. I do have his permission.

I have been pondering Virily for awhile. I read it takes 1000 Virily points to equal a dollar.

From what I understand there is no set number of virils that equates to a dollar. It varies.
