So many questions .I really still think I am too old for all this. On my computer screen I have a little icon that says Mbar. when I open it it has a long list of things there of which most say application extension . some say file folder, etc. I am afraid to delete it but still it bothers me not knowing what it is. I might need it. 
I have uninstalled McAfee several times. yet every now and then, I see it back on my screen?
and I kept wondering why I have such a hard time hearing on my new phone. 
yesterday my daughter informed me the speaker is on the back of it
So why would they put it there? my iphone has it on front. 
nothing makes any sense these days.

Every product is different. I leave things on just incase cause I was told once that some things have important files in them. You just never know.

@celticeagle i searched and it said something about a malware protection. i think Avast takes care of that and that my oldest had put this on my computer in AZ and i had not noticed it for a while. i may just leave it to see if anything goes wrong and take it off if i start having problems

If you have completely uninstalled mcAfee you should not see this, so go back to your programs and look for what got left behind. I use Avast, it is free.

@bunnybon7 They could probably do some surveys before they build crappy things. I am not sure I am one of those who 'learn to live with it'...I probably pelt it in the dustbin and go on living.

I don't try to figure out what all the so-called PC files mean I just stick to what I know and delete the ones I know I can and should.

My problem is with all the knobs on those things. I have no idea what to turn or push, to increase-decrease the volume.
