I am sitting here watching news and it just said Best Buy is getting ready to pull all music cds from stores they said they have not been selling much. What is your opinion on this? Yes they may not be selling them much but once they are pulled somebody might come in and want one and they will not be able to buy one. I know you can download music now but for us people that can’t we need music cds thank god for amazon.

too many people upload the music to their smart phones, tablets or a usb to plug into their car radio. i laughed first time i saw a usb port on a car stereo, i called it the 8 track of the e-media age.

With all the sites to be able to download and listen to Music now, this does not surprise me. Who needs a CD player anymore?

Did you see cassette tapes are now in demand? It's supposed to be delightfully retro. Maybe in fifteen years CDs will be popular again.

I can understand why they have to do that. Cd's are just becoming obsolete but there will always be a place that would sell them.

I think it is about time. You do not need CD any more. You have your playlist. They discontinued CD players in car. I use USB with tons of music. No need for CD.DVD will be next You have to move on.Plus look all the space that you save

Its easy and free to download music now. For those who can't maybe its time for them to explore and learn how to download music.

Yep. I've heard about that. Target is going to be next. The times are changing. I haven't been to Best Buy in a few years.

@Tina30219 I go to Target once a month, like I would do this weekend to buy miscellaneous items like cat food, toilet paper, protein drinks, etc.

Really? I've bought CDs from Best Buy many times. It does seem like their music CD section has gotten smaller though.
