Isn't it nice to have a myLot app?

I have been using Quora a lot lately and I somehow think myLot is similar in some ways. As a millennial, I find the site quite..outdated. It is awesome still but it can be more awesome. I tried the site on mobile before and it was a nightmare. I think both users and mylot creators can benefit from having a mobile app. - More exposure just by appearing on the store - Increase loyalty, after work I really don't want to sit in front of a laptop again but I'm pleased to play with my phone and I bet many people feel the same. This will lead to more users and more time people spend on it, more ads, more money for both of us

Would be great, eh? Don't know why they are being conservative about it really. Imagine myLot as a mobile app where we can respond right away because we get instant notifications. It might become annoying eventually, beeping every 2 seconds but doesn't matter. When I spilled water on my laptop and went into a coma for a couple of days, first thing that came into my mind was, "Oh no, what's gonna happen to myLot". I simply don't like using my phone for myLot. It's slow, it comes in really small letters, the list goes on. But until then , we just have to put up with what we have.

Yes! I'm not an app developer but I am working for a company that building an app. A myLot app will not be hard to build because there are already similar social apps out there. It's not like they have to make it from zero. I am going to make a more profound argument as to why they should make an app and tag them lol.

Sad thing is, this is the mobile-friendly version of the site. A more modern approach to the experience would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. Seems like change has almost always come at a glacial pace here... aside from that one notable incident in 2013 when the new site design went live with minimal notice. Those were fun times.

Yes, i read the official statement from myLot moderator. It seems like they are really not interested in it. I buy bringing more attention to the issue. They will reconsider it.

@Plethos Because of reasons I have listed above. I actually can pull out a more researched argument but I'm feeling lazy right now. As myLot is a community and most people use their phone to be online right now. Imagine where Facebook, Twitter and Instagram would be if they did not make an app. I have witnessed many crazy success thanks to having an app.

Yes. I think this is a good idea. It would be nice to use an app. But I am also glad that it works on mobile browser.
