I ask because black history for one and this is one of the few bands that broke through to white people. Not so much now because think they felt that little Zack played them. Do not ask me, you a good person then hell yeah you appreciate. In the time of Trump, no one cares. Not even Rage can break through.

i always liked the musical talent the band has, they had their own unique sound . i just didnt care much for the lyrics, one, too political for me, and 2, lots of repetitive verses.

That was everything people hated about this band. To political and one of the reasons I think Zach will never go back he cannot stand the toll it takes on him mentally to be so brave, but so glad he did for what 10 years or so. I do not care if it was political needed to be said. I am sad it is not being said now, but kind of good because now many people miss it where if it was alive all these years people would just be numb. The lyrics being repetitive on some songs was the point. Even they know like the Marines told me you repeat it till you remember it. I get sucks as a fan, but for a society there was a very important strategy behind it. It works on the people who want to be taught. Like anything in life.

@crossbones27 - when system of a down first came out, lyrically , they reminded me of Rage. but i find their political views more mature compared to Rage.

@Plethos Ok, never heard that, but maybe, even so rage was the ones that made people actually think that way and stand up for something. The rest was just numb bs to get by the day like I do most days. Me included.

Trump supporters have no clue that they are the very machine that the band was raging against.

It is, but I bet many true Rage Against the Machine fans were for Bernie Sanders and I bet 25 percent of those fans voted for Trump when Bernie when the country decided they were not ready for such ideas.
