Combination of savory, sweet and sour. It's like lemon chicken except pineapple. best if the battered chicken is still crispy and the sauce drizzled on top rather than smothered in sauce.

I had some caldereta on my lunch then terriyaki with chopsuey for my dinner. I don't cook those dishes unfortunately.

Yes we need to add sugar. We put the sauce in the rice and it's really delicious
