Favorite "King" Songs #5 - "A Farewell to Kings"

Of all the musical artists that are regularly written about here on MyLot, these guys are perhaps the most polarizing. You either love them or you can't stand them. There seems to be no in between. We are at #5 in my series of favorite songs with "king" in the title: "A Farewell to Kings" by Rush. It has been 40 years since the release of A Farewell to Kings, the 5th studio album by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame trio, Rush. It was the Canadian band's first certified gold record in the United States (it has since achieved platinum status,) and is one of the final albums from the group's progressive rock days (they would make just one more prog record before moving on to a more commercially viable sound.) Although an official video was made, the title track was not released as a single (their classic, "Closer to the Heart," and the non-charting "Cinderella Man" were the album's singles,) yet "A Farewell to Kings" remains a fan favorite four decades later.
