I made lunch and dinner for my daughter and her family.

I was at my daughter´s house all day. They were all at work painting and wallpapering the house.
I made myself useful at first making lunch. We had pork chops and well hand beaten mashed potatoes. I also cooked some breen beans for salad and made a homemade mayo to eat with a tongue that Claudia had cooked.
Sofía did not like the tongue, but loved the mashed potatoes and the pork. Some ate ice cream as dessert but I had a wonderful pear.
What did you have for lunch and dinner?

It is the same as the tongue of human beings
only that in this case it is a cow´s. Pork (and other animals) are also edible.

It was good of you to cook lunch for your daughter and family. We are thinking of having vegetable fried rice and chicken curry with salad and papad.

I agree with Sofia, pork chops and mashed potatoes and the veggies is good, but the tongue, I'll definitely pass. 
I usually get the instant mashed potatoes, so the homemade one would be a great treat! I love moist pork chops. Your pork chops looks so moist yet nicely golden on the outside! MMM, good!

I don´t like instant masehed potatoes. THey are not hard to make if you have the right utensil.

But the regular mashed potatoes is great, but for one it's difficult, so I depend on instant with butter.
