We had visitors from Australia today and they brought me a box of chocolates from New Zealand. I am a chocolate foodie and have tasted chocolates from almost all the countries. This is the first time I get to taste chocolates from New Zealand. I had bought Cadbury chocolates from there but those around me wondered why I would buy them in NZ when they are available in India but when I told them it is the difference in milk and they understood.

I like chocolate but I have a hard time with a new chocolate. I'm not fond of chocolates from different countries. Even America has many different brands that taste different. I love See's chocolate the best.

@Jeanniemaries I had a peep there and they look delicious. I know people in the US and one of them is expected to visit her mother here soon. Will ask her to get me some. (lol) She always gets me Ferraro Rocher We always exchange gifts.

@MALUSE There is no reason why other countries cannot overtake Switzerland and not necessarily depend on their marketing strategy. I had bought some chocolates a long time ago in a Mall in Australia. They were not wrapped but heaped up in a basket. I bought a kilo and took them home. They did not melt and each square was a mouthful and indeed tasted great.

@allknowing An interesting list. No Switzerland at the top. So they must have good marketing to have become famous.

@allknowing No. I like them, but I don't need them, and right now with the diet I'm on, I won't be having them for quite a while.

I love chocolates and anything that is made from milk in New Zealand tastes delicious. Sad that your husband did not bring you chocolates - may be he did not have the time to shop and men usually do not like shopping
