I've been away for a while, just thought I should drop in Leonard's doing really well, he's 20 months old and talking constantly He repeats everything, the gravity of which didn't hit me til I called him a little bugger (affectionately of course) and he said "buggabuggabuggabugga" He's going to be the page boy at my friend's wedding later in the year, that will be a laugh! God knows what he'll do, it's impossible to get him to walk anywhere without stopping to look at every leaf and car wheel so I'm not convinced he'll walk down an aisle I'm starting college in May to do a level one counselling course, I can't wait to get back into education! I've got a degree but it's in a broad subject that, while I love it, doesn't provide me with opportunities for any careers I'd be interested in. My best news is that after all my efforts to lose weight I finally found something that's working for me - thanks to @AmbiePam who introduced me to Bright Line Eating Over Christmas and new year I ate myself into a stupor and ended up at 14 stone 9lbs (205lbs) Then in the middle of January I committed to quit flour and refined sugar, only eat at meal times, and to stick to the quantities provided in the Bright Line Eating weight loss plan, and I'm now 12 stone 11lbs (179lbs). I've lost 26lbs in four weeks! 13lbs of that was lost in my first seven days. I've got even more interested in cooking, to the point where I use it to relax (to the amazement of my family who only know me as someone allergic to cooking ) and I've found that I can make whatever I want to eat, as long as I stick to the rules. I'm much happier and definitely healthier already My goal is 10 stone (140lbs) which I will reach by the beginning of summer as long as I stick to the plan, and I honestly can't see myself breaking from it. It was extremely difficult to get over my addiction to processed foods, but that difficulty only lasted for the first two weeks and now I really can't see myself going back to it.

Greetings oh absent one. If I was going to do a course these days, I too would choose a level one. Those uphill ones play havoc with my ankles. Well done on the weight loss.

@LilyBeBack Are you slowly giving this place up? I'm struggling to find someone else to lust over. In the words of Jimmy Somerville - "Don't leave me this way"

That's terrific! I am so glad for you (and for feisty Leonard). That is so cool that you are going back to school. I was always really interested in counseling and psychology. I took every counseling and psychology class I could take. Which was stupid because hearing other people's problems make me cry. You're going to do great!

I'm a cryer as well Maybe this will help me to toughen up I'm so excited about college! And by the time I get there I should be down to goal weight so I won't have my weight-related insecurities holding me back

Thank you! The cravings were really difficult at first but they're gone now, although I do still miss the feeling of eating til I could burst
