Crazy on top of crazy on top of more crazy

That was work today, all the craziness. I swear MY other job, Tony, sat and dealt with them all. One lady we know from her being friends with a tenant stopped to tell us why she quit the church today, the church on the hill that I have never went to,my entire life and never would. By time she spoke her peace the preacher called her the devil. The elderly ladies were trying to force there way into the house, the empty rental I was working on, why? They want to see how nasty it is just so they can gossip about the people who moved. I asked her if her house was nasty? She said a little, I said this one is not nastier than yours. The nosy gossip lady of the neighbor is mad at me, I guess, she stuck her nose in the air. I heard something happening at another rental, loud voices, car doors slamming, cars leaving. I painted the living room, the dining room and the hall way, half of the hall way before I had enough and loaded up and left. Oh yeah, I decided that a $75 five gallon bucket of white paint was less work that washing all the walls. Most walls will only need one coat of paint. I am glad we went today because the roof is leaking around a stink pipe in the bathroom, yes it has poured rain all day. How was your Sunday?

@andriaperry - Oh, we are. We got a sweet little propane heater that makes things nice and toasty, and if it gets to where we can't take it, we get a room. So far we are doing well, though.

Sometimes the cheaper way is to buy a bucket of paint and to paint. I hope the leaking pipe did not ruin your fresh painting.

Nope, Tony found the leak in a closet that is behind the bathroom. He was checking the floor and seen water running down that pipe.

And now you know why I moved away from that neighborhood, I still have my old home place there but I am sure I could never live it it again, unless I just had to.

They shouldn't poke their nose were they don't belong. Hard to believe you got gossipers over there and probably no different over here.

I may get done before March, I may not. Tony has to go in for doctor visits, tests and treatments. I have to get this tooth filled too, it does not hurt but when I had them cleaned they said the filling is loose, I have to cancel 2 times because of the flu I had. I am going to try not hire anyone and do the work myself to save money plus sometimes they mess up and I have to redo it so... I am not hurting for money and all my bills are paid up so I won`t worry about hurrying.

Doesn't sound like any fun at all, glad I sold my house instead of renting it out. Don't need that much aggravation in my life

I still have 3 bedrooms , one big, one medium and one small, a small bathroom , a small kitchen and a small laundry room. I got the biggest room done the living room is huge. This picture is the loving room, see the nasty door frame going into the hall? I cleaned a streak to see if it would come off and it did.

If there is a lot of grime on the walls more coats would be needed.

I wiped the fingerprints off. One problem for me is where the couch was against the wall, that wall will have to have another coat I am sure, it skinned the paint off. I have the couch to touch my walls.

Paint can do wonders! We used primer first and then regular to cover some of the walls after a fire. There was no way all the soot and such was coming off no matter how much I scrubbed. Glad it is easier for you.
