Tags, are they important?

It helps when people search particularly as per there interests like music photography etc.but it happens very rarely.

I pay careful attention to tagging on my posts but mainly for my own benefit. If I can't remember if I've written about something I can search for what I hope I might have tagged it and often I will find what I'm looking for. I've suggested to various readers that if they want to find my posts about kangaroos they can just search for 'kangaroo' and the posts will come up for them. It depends I guess but sometimes tags can be helpful. However I doubt they help increase your earnings.

Sometimes, I do check the tags to see some other posts on the same topic.

I feel like if the post is more like a blog post like you are reviewing something or talking about music or news, yeah sure those are good if people want to read about that topic. I never do tags because I don't write about anything important haha

I never tag my post. Maybe I will just see how it affects my earnings.

I have no idea whether it helps with the earnings or not, but it does help a person find a discussion of his interest by using tags. But I rarely do that to search for discussions as I use the tab for people I follow discussions and the most recent tab. Besides if people just read your post without interaction or if you just make a discussion without interaction, you won't earn anything.

I usually tagged my discussions. For the reason that other mylotters to search and related to certain discussions.

I do tag sometimes, but mainly for my own benefit. I tag my poems, so that they are all in one place.
