Excuse me for this discussion. What does it mean when the snot or the mucus is super green. From yellow it turns to green. Is it still normal to have a green mucus dischrage for two weeks? Is someone needs antibiotic for this?

It's the first time I have heard of one from yellow turning to green. It could be a sign indeed of an infection because of the unusual color. So, it's better indeed that you consult a doctor. Prevention is better than cure as the saying goes, my friend. I hope it's nothing serious.

It can be very normal in people. It's a sign that your white blood cells are fighting infection. If you have no other symptoms, it will clear up on its own. If not, you should see a doctor.

Why don't you leave this to your doctor to decide if this is an infection or not? It is not a wise thing to neglect your health dear friend @jobelbojel ! Let the experts do their duties for you as they are qualified and are professionals! Thanks!

DianneN was right, I was told the same. The immune system is fighting back the cold/flu fine and winning victoriously .

I always heard that green is bacterial infection. You might want to go to a dr.

i think you better have consultation, hijo. normally, the nasal discharges should be clear. if green and foul-smelling, it could be indicative of a severe respiratory condition, maybe pneumonia. if it is frothy,(the sputum), that is worse.

Sounds like you have pneumonia and yes you do need to go see a doctor, this could be fatal if not treated.
