Amazon Sent The Wrong Thing

United States
February 13, 2018 9:31am CST
I just opened a box from Amazon and one of the things I ordered isn't right. I ordered a box of 30 mixed cappuccino K cups which I enjoy having in the afternoon. 30 K cups was less than $13 so I jumped on it considering it was a great price. Upon opening the box it's a 30 count K cups but all sorts of coffee (medium roast, espresso, bold etc). I am very disappointed. I know Amazon will take these back without a problem but it's a hassle to have to mail them back so I don't know if I should just keep them and reorder the cappuccino. You know coffee will never go to waste in this house. Decisions, decisions...

It isn't too hard to take things back to Amazon. They start crediting your refund as soon as you take it to a UPS store or whomever does shipping in your area. I have had to ship back maybe 25 percent of the stuff I have gotten from Amazon for one reason or another. Ollie's OUtlet has very good prices on K cups. You should see if there is one in your area..not sure if they have a website.

I dont' think we have an Ollies around here but I've gotten some Kcup at Aldi. It's very rare that I've ever had to send anything back to Amazon.

Yes this has only happened to me on one occasion and I did not bother sending back the item!

I'm thinking I might keep these since they're just a mix of coffee and we do drink a lot of coffee.

This is one of the problem we face in India also ...may be from amazon or from other online seller! Returning is not a problem but the time consumed and mental stress is a point to be considered as we are hard pressed of time to go to market and getting the things that's why we place an order on line! Thanks dear @Marilynda1225! Have a nice time!

I love having things come to my door and not having to deal with stores, lines and finding a parking space.

That's why we feel bad when we get delivered wrong things and we are asked to waste our efforts and time dear @Marilynda1225 !

Read the description again really well to make sure you didn't just skip where it said assorted. I had that happen once. They might just tell you to keep them (if it was their mistake) and send you the correct item.

When it happened to me, they said to keep the wrong thing and shipped the good one.

@GardenGerty If the amount is not high, they do not ask to send back the item, it costs more than throwing it away.

I know how you must have felt. Even I was tricked once when my phone cover size was not wat I had expected when my sis had ordered an earphone.

I guess I was misinfomed. I had heard that if they made a mistake you got to keep the mistaken article and they sent the correct item to you for free. I hope you get it sorted, but they really should know about the mix up.

I think they know it's so much hassle to return things that we won't do it. I am the same way.

I think that I would use them and try to order the correct ones-save yourself the hassle.

Although it's good when things can be returned without too many dramas, it's still inconvenient. I'd rather they got it right in the first place.

If you knew you would definitely drink the ones you received then I wouldn't bother sending them back.

It is a hassle to have to return things even if they do take it back. It is nice if they get the order right in the first place.

It can be difficult to return things, even if you know they will take it back. It's not always easy to do.
