Last Saturday we treat ourselves to a restaurant as early birthday treat for my father whose birthday is Valentine's day. The restaurant looks like a very old house maybe from the 1940s or 1950s. They renovate it to a restaurant. It's nice because it's fully air conditioned. The appetizer is great we have nachos with cheese and pork sisig. The food is great but I'm a little sad because they made a mistake. The waiter give us the wrong dish. They look like but they taste different. After that special lunch. We go to a mall in another town and buy a lot of groceries in the hypermarket. It was special day for me riding in our own car.

Nice place to dine, actually that is not a 40's, 50's house, it's a " bahay na bato" ( Philippine stone houses), built probably in the 1700s to the 1900s and some are older, I had been in that vicinity of Angat and Bustos where there are a lot of Spanish era houses, my brother in law and my good friend still have there ancestral homes there and I was fortunate enough to visit them. It's nice they opened it up for people to dine and appreciate, belated happy birthday to your father.

Yes I think it's older you are right. They are really big houses and really look old. They are not made from hollow blocks but from big bricks. I like the feel of the place feels like you are in Spanish era. I think they don't use the second floor only the ground floor. They made it modern by adding TV and is fully air conditioned inside. The windows are made of capiz shells. We saw other old houses there in Bustos
