On Vacation, Sad Day For Florida

The weather is awesome, I am turning brown.
I know I am behind with my comments but it will get done. Wanted you all to know I haven’t forgotten you.
We are enjoying the weather, the food, and the pools. The Gulf is a bit cold for us but we see others enjoying it. I love walking on the beach.
The news of the school shooting took our breath away. Just terrible...
I will be around once in a while. We spend a lot of time in the sun. At home they are enjoying snow and freezing rain.

@jaboUK Next Wednesday the 21st, am looking forward to be pain free but I know it will take months to get my mobility back. I intend to use the YMCA pool as soon as my scar heals and bandages disappear..

We had a good time but next year it will be longer. I'm getting a new knee and had too many appointments to allow us to spend more time in the good weather, Its snowing here again today...

My husband turns brown - his heritage is Greek. I am lilly white English and I have to put a ton of sunscreen on my body to avoid the pain of the red. I tanned a bit but its gone now.

A lot of Canadians go south for the winter, we just went for a couple of weeks. When I go to water aerobics at the YMCA I am not the only tanned one in the pool. My tan is fading fast too...

The whole world was upset and shocked by the news of the shooting. I keep thinking of all those poor families who have to try and put their lives together again.

My brain either... My doctor took away one of my meds to see if I get my brain back. its helping but not up to par yet... We loved the heat, the pool, the restaurants and bars, the beach on Fort Myers Island, but our condo, not so much. I had to buy ear plugs to sleep with the NOISE OF THE AIRCONDITIONER... The fact there is one road through the island and a billion cars was awful...two hours to get downtown, the traffic was rediculus because of the construction on the one and only highway...We heard it would be a couple of years before the road will be finished - we might go back after that happens. We decided to go to Mexico next winter...and visit Ocala too.
