Is this a joke?

I don't know how I wound up with this ad on my screen, but it appears for be for a clothing store that sells t-shirts for over $40, "pre-ripped" jeans for over $100 and Really Ugly Belts for around $150.
Is this for real? Or have I been taken in by parody? The company is called "7 For All Mankind," as far as I can tell. Who would buy this kind of thing? And why? Or how did I miss the joke?

Um, now that I'm old, I can buy whatever I want, drive a couple of Porsches if I so choose, and buy whatever guitar I want. When I was young, we wore torn jeans that had been torn by use, and laughed at those who tried to imitate our "coolness" by wearing "pre-torn" jeans. Who, in their 20s, could buy this crap except for spoiled brats?

@JudyEv Back in the '70s and '80s, the truly cool (or so we thought) at elite US colleges wore worn jeans and t-shirts. I think the idea was to "identify" with the poor and the hard-working blue-collar Union folk. At some point, the "main stream" fashion-conscious tried to "imitate" this look, but it came off as silly. I should list some of my old properly torn jeans on eBay (30/32--about the right size for a slender and slightly tallish gal) for $250 and see what happens.

That is a popular brand even here in Manila but I wouldn't purchase from them. Too expensive for my blood.

@TheHorse yeah. I would say Filipinos in general are fashion conscious, not just the teens. Filipinos usually posts their OOTDs in social media.

We were just talking about this. Have to be rich and still think I would struggle on blowing that kind of money when I could just tear up my own clothing or get the Kia dawg to help me.

@crossbones27 Heh. I gotta get a wider fan base on YouTube. And market my music as very "hip" and "alternative" somehow. Hell, I have some old underpants I'd like to get rid of too.

Oh it will be for real. Some people have realised that there are plenty of people out there with more money than sense and they're going to do their best to relieve them of it.
Sadly it doesn't take much to part some people from their money. Tell some people it's trendy and they'll be wearing their underwear on their head and paying $200 for head underwear with the 'right' label!!

@thehousewife And it look like @TheHorse has come up with a possible marketing strategy.
This is it folks. This time next year we'll be millionaires (10 WorDazza bonus points for any non-UK member who gets that reference!!)

@nanette64 That's what goats are for! Cows tend to run, or whatever it is they do, if I get too close.

@TheHorse Just look at young people now. Tattoos, piercings and pre ripped clothes. When I was young there was the mini skirt and flowers everywhere and lots of color. And the boys rebeled by not cutting their hair. Now they would look odd with the hair cuts of the "nice boys" (according to moms) of the 50s.

@marguicha Tattoos strike me as weird. Many Bay Boomers look like normal adults now, even if they get stoned instead of drunk after a hard day of work or retirement. But tattoos are permanent!

@TheHorse It's baffling why someone would spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, on those kinda jeans. Might as well buy cheap ones and stain and rip them yourself.

@lovebuglena But then they wouldn't have the "brand name" on them. People can be such lemmings.

Oh, come on, it's not like anyone can just rip a pair of jeans. If you want it done right, you have to pay for it...Which brings up the question, "Who would want it?" That being said, I have seen some torn jeans that I've really admired cause they were ripped in the right places.
