Kenya is a beautiful country. When you visit us, ensure that you taste Nyama Choma and Ugali and for those that take beer, try our Tusker. Tusker is our trademark drink. Ugali is a meal of cornflour that is popular in households. Nyama Choma is grilled or roasted meat that is quite juicy.

Your ugali is very similar to our north Italian dish called polenta. Corn flour cooked in boiling liquid to a firm dough-like consistency. I am sure I would like Nyama Choma.

The cornflour meal sounds the same because we mix cornflour with high boiling water until it becomes a bit hard. Very nice when hot and with roasted meat. It’s popular on weekends before a drinking spree

@aureliah We proceed the same way to make polenta and we usually serve it with stewed meats. It's popular in winter, when the temperature is cold.

@aureliah i would prefer beef and chicken. by the way, ugali has several meaning in our language (Tagalog/Filipino) 1. conduct; habit; personal behavior or conduct 2. character; nature (of a person) 3. inclination; propensity 4. tradition; long-established custom or practice
