Oooh, how I loved that show! I was so happy when it came out on DVD (and finally, region-free DVD courtesy of Umbrella Entertainment in Australia). Here in America it aired as "My Partner the Ghost," apparently because people thought we wouldn't get the gist of the original title. Did you ever see the remake with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer? The only thing it had over the original was outstanding special effects (which I read cost about a million pounds per episode [and there were a total of 13 episodes of the remake made]....I mean, you could see the wires clearly when Marty and Bugsy were flinging objects at each other in "Murder Ain't What It Used to Be!" [love that episode BTW]). Some of the remake episodes were just ripped off from the original, without giving any credit to the original.

@FourWalls Tom Baker is a good Actor but I have not seen much of him in ages and ages. Will look out for the second series to see if there are any bits and pieces of it on youtube. Thank you for that info.

@lovinangelsinstead21 — the second season was much better than the first (at least, the first three episodes). I’ve watched other things with Reeves & Mortimer and enjoyed it (Vic did a cover of “Dizzy” with the Wonderstuff!). I just saw too much of the original series, stolen, in it. I also thought Tom Baker was so much fun...but so wasted in the series.

Marty is the ghost partner of Jeff they were private detectives in a Series on the television. That is why I put a video of it on there as well it explains it well if you listen.
From 1969-70: Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) and US syndicated AKA: "My Partner the Ghost" opening credits to my cover version of the classic British theme tv ...

Hey do you really the original one or the remake? I think the original one is funnier and great to watch.

Probably not but you might have seen it if you had been over in England. We had a few Australian Series on at the time also. Later came "Skippy" I loved that one.

@lovinangelsinstead21 When we were in England around 1998, a young lad at the Royal Mews wanted to know what was going to happen to a certain character in Neighbours. We were a huge disappointment as we never watched it.

@JudyEv Oh yes that is something I never got to watch as I worked all hours of the day to get some extra cash. So they would not have gotten much out of me either.
