Semi-Automatic Assault Rifle

How does a nineteen year old get a semi-automatic assault rifle? I'm sure it wasn't one they just had around the house. My biggest problem with all of this is the fact that anyone who wants a gun can get one regardless of age, mental state, etc. But, I think senators and legislators alike need to know where we stand on this. I hope you take the time to read this article and call on your representatives to do the right thing.
They were watching a movie in Aurora. They were dancing in Orlando. They were in class in Parkland. And then they were killed by an assault-style rifle.
