Cashed Out at Another Site

Years back, I did fairly well doing online surveys. At that time I belonged to about twenty survey sites and had enough work to last me an entire week! Then, scammers ruined this for people who were actually doing legitimate surveys, for different companies. It dwindled down to almost nothing at all, after about three years. I stayed active with only one site, that always treated me fairly. Their surveys are few and far between, but I still try my luck about once a month. Today I cashed out on that site, to receive $15 into my PayPal account. It took me an entire year to do reach this amount! LOL Photo: borrowed from Pixabay

That's great! I'm glad you reached payout. I work on Swagbucks and could cash out but I always wait until I have 5000 points. I almost have 4000. It's taken a couple years, but it will be good to cash out when I do. If I could qualify for their surveys more often, I would be more active on the site.

I use to do well on the survey sites too when I took time to do then but so many turned scammy or shut down. I do have some I'm still at. I'm almost at the $40 payout for Inboxdollars. I am 300 points away at GlobalTestMarket. I pop on and off to many sites but mostly spend my time here at mylot. Many sites I didn't pop in on often enough and my accounts were deleted and I lost my points. They just reinstated my GlobalTestMarket account and points yesterday I was surprised as it was months ago I emailed them that I couldn't log in. What is the site you just cashed out at?

@DianneN That's wonderful, Dianne! I was making $300 each month, doing surveys and writing for Bubblews. The only problem, my entire day was being spent online! Jay was at work, so he didn't mind a bit. The extra income came in handy, for different things that we needed

@kobesbuddy I worry that others are having the same issue as me- it was an ebay gift card worth 50.00 but really worth zip. Its a trap and you won't know until you step in it. Ebay folks tried but couldn't make the card worth anything. SB said it was my problem. I've heard similar tales about Walgreen cards.

I discovered a few months ago that my husband started doing surveys some time ago. What alerted me was the fact that he began getting amazon gift cards just about on a weekly basis. He'd been banking his points not realizing that he had enough to begin cashing out. It's the first survey site that I've actually been able to do surveys for without me jinxing myself from being able to do them at all. I'm getting closer to getting my first amazon card unless I decide to wait for a larger one instead. I should put the link on my profile. The only other place where I've cashed out other than here and bubblews years ago is hubpages. It seems that I've been getting enough views on my one article that I've been getting paid from them about yearly without me spending much time there at all.
@kobesbuddy i understand the feeling i was like that when i started in mylot, it was actually a challenge that time and to see for myself if its really paying. Well i never do online jobs but now i stay in mylot to pass time, enjoy, have new friends, gain more knowledge and hopefully earn

I do Opinion Outpost where the point total is 100 in order to be paid & cash out at $10. Depending on how many surveys I qualify for, the $10 is easy every month. The newer one I'm doing is Point Club but you have to have 25,000 points in order to cash out $25. I get thrown out of those 90% of the time. @kobesbuddy .
I was on one of those survey sites for awhile. But the time invested to take the surveys, and the points earned to purchase items was just not worth it for me. I used to do them to apply toward Amazon music downloads, but when they discontinued this prize I quit. I also found out I really dislike doing surveys, lol.
