We have just had an earthquake !

Here I was sitting at my computer when the house shook. At first I put it down to someone banging the garage doors shut ....the garage is underneath the room I am in ...
But then I realised that I didn't actually hear anything....
Weird I thought !
Two minutes I went on facebook to see a new posting by a friend to say that her house had shook too and that there had been an earthquake near Bath ....some 100+ miles away.
Pleased it wasn't just me imagining things and I hope everyone in and around bath are all okay !

Yes, it was the Swansea one that was the one we felt I think. That's not far from Bath

How often you have such earth quakes dear @Traceyjayne! Does your area comes under seismic zone? For that matter UK comes under seismic zone? Thanks God there were no casuelties and people are safe there! God bless us all!

Thanks God to know that dear @Traceyjayne ! we live in seismic zone and we frequently get earth quakes, no major one so far by the grace of God dear friend! Thanks!

we don't have them very often ....Thankfully. I can only remember three and they are very small ones really.

I was the same I thought I was imagining it until I went onto the internet to check it out. The centre was 20 miles north of Swansea.
