Do you edit typos in your MyLot posts and comments?

I must have been distracted. I typed "your" when I meant "you're" in a comment on another's post on MyLot this morning. I posted it, read it, and recoiled in horror. Visions of @Maluse descending on me flooded my mind. I immediately fixed the error, breathed a sigh of relief, and brewed up my second cup of coffee as I calmed down. Do you fix typos in your MyLot writing when you catch them?

@vandana7 @Maluse is too wise to take me seriously. I am thankful when she pints (sic) out my typos.

Some aren't really typos. They're brainos. Spell-check wont catch it when people use "there," their" and they're" wrong.

@TheHorse Oh ok. I`m not too much familiar with brainos but I agree with you because not all understand when to use each of them

@TheHorse That's for sure. You misspelled they're as their in one of your responses. Too many people don't care about spelling and the proper use of grammar in their responses.

@thehorse I feel embarrassed if a word is incorrectly spelled in my head when I speak it aloud.

You may have me beat there. But some basic words give me fits, like "restaurant."

Heh heh. She's one of my favorite MyLotters. Don't tell her, but I love it when she gets mad at me for using the same joke over and over.

If I spot them then I correct them. I am a perfectionist. However, I may not notice them all since I am not perfect.

@MALUSE No... Ms. Valentine was my English teacher. She worked hard on me to let me come to the ranks of others since I was from Hindi Medium. She was strict but in the heart of heart, I was her favorite, at least I think so.

Most definitely. One of the advantages that myLot offers over other such sites is that one retains edit rights to each and every post (or comment or response) one makes here, for ever... Thanks to simplyme, @m_audrey6788, for the suggestion here.
