Carrots really are good for your eyes. Carotenoids , in carrots gives your skin a healthy glow. It also helps to slow down the effect of aging on your skin. Eat raw carrots they are better for you. Red and purple grapes work to prevent toxins and have antioxidants which to get rid of the inflammation in your body.

I'm not fond of carrots but I do try to include them in meals, cooking some into lentil dishes. We do eat red grapes most weeks, though.

Eatting carrots in other dishes will help your eyes to stay good. We are going to try and grew carrots in our garden this summer.

Raw carrots give me a stomachache, but I can eat them shredded on a salad for some reason. Love grapes. I agree that carrots and red grapes are beneficial.

I think carrots are especially important for night vision (which involves mostly rods, not cones), but I'll have to go back and see why.
