What will you do if you're stuck in an island for 30 days with no other things but your clothes?

Just random thoughts before I go to sleep. And so this is my first time again that I posted in Mylot since last Christmas. It was a hectic yearend. I figured I should post something new which was kinda related to me a few weeks ago. I got stuck in a place when I was doing my part-time job with no food, money or a decent make-up (lol, which I rarely don't do) and I thought it would be worst to get stuck in an island with limited stuff. What if you only had yourself? Line in the movie "castaway"? what will you do? Or like in a TV series, "Naked and Afraid" but the difference is you have your clothes on?

I'm in an island, that would be heaven for me. I Just hope the island is beautiful though and I can do without clothes. I'm sure I'll be able to find coconuts there and a stream to find fresh water. I just hope that I'll be with another person and I don't mind whatever gender.

Guess, the first thing I'd do is build a shelter for a home. Look for food and water. Luckily I know how to fish, so I'd probably build myself a fishing spear. I'd gather water to have for drinking. I would like to be rescued so I'd pray for help and being rescued as soon as possible. Hope there are no ferocious & carnivorous animals on the island, if there are I got to build a security pit around my shelter home or some other kind of protection for me while I sleep. I like the movie Swiss Family Robinson, so I'll go forth being stranded on an island of what they did. But honestly, I'd rather be rescued real quickly.

I'm going to do the same thing, too.

@db20747 But it's been so long since I gutted a fish, so I wonder how it would really be to catch fish again. I buy already gutted fish or cooked fish at the market. But when on an island you got to have this kind of skill. Getting water would first though...hope there is a waterfall near by.

I would need shelter to keep me secure, food, water to drink and shoes to walk on. I would swim in the sea, take down coconuts to eat and watch the orange sunsets every evening. I would create a lovely view point over the sea.

I like to eat coconut and so this would be excellent for me. I am not going to want to drink sea water. Yes, the salt in it wouldn't be very safe.

Coconuts are great with protein and it will also helps you rehydrate. I will also opt out for sea water. Drinking salt might do samage to kidneys and will make your dehydrate more.

The first priorities are fresh water, shelter and finding food.

Yes, that's correct. Will you get food first or will you create shelter first?

That's when those girl scout skills come in handy!! Building a fire, catching squirrels, and making a little pocket knife with wood!!!

When I was little living with Grandpa, he tried to teach me to fish and be self sufficient. Got the hook stuck in my hand. Kind of got the feeling that fishing was not for me. Before there was clam digging spots that I was privy to, so that is okay. Even found a little glass floater on the beach where we went clam digging. Not today though nothing is like it was when I was a little child decades ago. Never got to be a Girl Scout though.

Yes, you can.. You can be creative. You can survive in the island by getting more supplies.

You can get more supplies as much as possible in the island, right?
