It's Funny - My Christmas Decoration Was Off

It's unbelievable! I have kept my Christmas decoration for so long time during and after this holidays period. I hardly succeed to take my decoration off today. I got flu and had to restore my health. That's why I was late with the decoration off. So I broke all records this year. There's similar post here around written by Denise Knight "Still Christmas for Me". I liked it very much. So I am not solo in this activity that could be definitely considered as late by most of the people. But I think I succeeded succeefully to cut the time between the last and the future Christmas, do I? What do you think? Thanks for reading.

Since you rarely remove the Christmas decorations, I think you succeeded this time. I always remove the decorations immediately January begins.

@WriterAI This was always my tradition. I learned it from my mother.

Hey, you extended the Christmas holiday, over two months time! I think that's very admirable:)

It would put me off Christmas forever if I had to see the decorations for so long.

Thanks for your opinion. I am respectful for other people opinions. To me seeing Christmas decoration for so long doesn't mattter. I am equally eager to meet next Christmas - it doesn't depend on when I exactly put my decoration off - just after Jan 1st or on any February day. The future Christmas to me shouldn't be influenced anyway by the time when I exactly remove my Christmas decoration. I do hope and I am sure it will be marvelous and brilliant.

Thanks for your response. I don't remove it only in February, but this year this happened.

There is a song entitled "365" performed by Nicole C., Mullen. It sums my personality up perfectly. The chorus reads, "'Cause I would love for Christmas to stay 365 days No one dear would be far away Love would give back If we gave - 365 days"

I am always one of the first to take down my decorations. I didn't really like my tree this year.
