It was an emergency pizza!

I got a new credit card a few months back and I told myself I was just going to use it for emergencies. Well yesterday since it was the last day for Domino's 5.99 carryout deal, I decided I had to have one. OK, I did not actually pay for the pizza with the credit card..but I did have to buy some gas which I put on the card..Umm, I think I need to tell myself a pizza is not an emergency!. It isn't like a waste of money, but...I don't think it was what was intended when I got the card! Do you have to talk yourself out of using your credit card for purchases?

I think there is a surcharge here in some shops if a purchase is below a certain amount and you want it put on your card.

Yes, it is usually a 5.00 minimum here, but not all stores do that..I didn't charge the pizza just the gas to get there.

Yes, because I don't want to have extra debt, when the bills start rolling in. It is so easy for me to do, use a credit card.

Yeah, seeing the balance increase is not fun.

We use a credit card all the time here, it is tied up to our bank account, the bill is paid automatically at the end of the month. I prefer to pay with the car than to bring cash with me.

@LadyDuck understandable, and not ideal unless you are really good with money management.

@snowy22315 I also wonder why they are called Credit. Anyway I prefer not to have those cards that put you into debts.

Oh yes, I do that a lot. Because at times I tend to be impulsive on my shopping.

I think it is easier with a card. It is peace of mind if you really do have an emergency.

We use our credit cards for everything and pay in full when due. We love the air miles and rewards.
