Do you have a caged bird in your home as a house pet?

I used to. That is, my oldest sister used to have a parrot and also at a different time, a couple of parakeets. They were fun to look at. They needed constant maintenance and such. But I was wondering if you might have a pet bird in a cage at your home?

I used to have love birds, parakeets and finches but that was a long time ago. I only have a cat and an aquarium now.

Good you do not have a caged bird. That cat would want to play with the bird and cause all kinds of anxiety for it. A nice aquarium adds decor to the room and I favor it. There was a company I knew the man who owned it, that did maintenance for owners of aquariums in the office and home and he cleaned and maintained their aquariums as well as replaced and added fish to them. He started his business at home back in the 1970s. Cats usually don't bother the fish in an aquarium. But I have seen then mess with a gold fish inside a simple fish bowl.

@lookatdesktop I love aquariums, there's something therapeutic in watching those fishy fishy swim My mom loves it too and my cat I guess hehe She does not mess with the fish but she paws on the glass, thinks she can catch those fishes thru the glass We maintain our aquarium, cleaning and all. Its quite an effort but worth it.

That is very nice. Do the birds like to sit on your outstretched arm or eat from your hand? I know a man who lets squirrels eat nuts from his hand but this is not what I would do.
