Looking on the bright side

I cycled over to the supermarket earlier, mainly to get some chocolate biscuits which Big One is going to turn into chocolate truffles as a fund-raiser for the Girl Guides.
Our local road is in rather a bad state, so as I cycled home, bouncing from one pothole to the next, I was thinking ‘Oh no my biscuits are all going to get broken up!’ Then I remembered that we are going to smash them up into crumbs anyway!
Even potholes have a bright side, sometimes.

That is handy. They used to dig our road up so many times a few years ago I suggested they put a zip in it to save all the digging. We are ok here for pot holes thankfully!

They keep patching ours but they must be using the wrong stuff or something because new holes appear in the patches within a few days! You would think that after all this experience they would get it right by now, but apparently not. As they say, if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always got.

So many potholes. So frustrating. Hope the chocolate truffles turned out yummy.
