Strawberry Ice Cream Anyone?

Yesterday I bought a pack of strawberries in the supermarket, which came from Spain. My mouth was watering seeing the red fruits. When I reached home, I ate 1 piece of the strawberries but I was disappointed as it was not delicious as I thought. It sounds that strawberries not in season are not good compared to the one we got here in summer.
How to make strawberries to be tasty? The package of strawberries was 500 grams. I didn´t want to throw them in the bin and so I was searching in my kitchen again for ingredients that would go with strawberries.
I thought of making smoothies out of those fruits but I was not craving for a smoothie. I found an open can of coconut cream and condensed milk leftover from drinking hot condensed milk before sleeping, in the fridge. I was thinking of an ice cream and so I made. I made ice cream and it looks good. It is still in the freezer now. I put it in the bread loaf for freezing.
I will post the photo when I have finished charging my Ipad as I used this gadget for taking photos when making this strawberry and coconut ice cream.
Have you eaten strawberry ice cream with coconut before? What kind of ice cream do you love?

I can imagine that the ice-cream will be tasty. I was surprised, however, that you bought strawberries at this time of the year. They aren't only tasteless but also full of chemicals. Consider the long way they have to travel! Better wait until June when you can buy strawberries at the market fresh from the fields.

@MALUSE I was surprised of myself too as I was not thinking much when I bought the strawberries. I was just craving and the red color was so inviting. The strawberry ice cream that I just made was so delicious. Hubby and I tasted the ice cream mixture before I froze it.

Strawberries are only in Bagiou I supposed @jobelbojel. You can make ice cream from the fruits that we have there like mango and avocado.

I remember when I was young and spent the night at my grandparent's, we went to the store for one thing, who knows what, but they had a blue light special on ice cream makers. Grandma bought one and when we got home, she made strawberry ice cream. It was sooooo good.

@thelme55 Butter pecan is creamy with pieces of pecans in it. It's good. Vanilla is just plain creamy.

@JudyEv That sounds new to me. I don´t think I have eaten salted caramel ice cream. I have to check that out in the Gelateria in our city when they are open. As of now the Italian owner of my favorite ice cream coffee shop in the city is still closed for their winter vacation.

I like frozen yogurt, with banana, pecan, and palms.
Your idea of the icecream was creative, you got the chance to look at what you got, you thought about a way to mix them together, you got a nice interesting icecream. Good work.
Your creativity can help in many problems, not just food :-)

I don't have ice cream right now but I'm going for a cake that was given to us yesterday. It has some fruits and berries in it.
