What a Beautiful Day

Today was one of those days that you wish you could bottle and use at a future time. It was in the 70's (degrees F) sunny and positively the kind of day to make you smile. I had the windows open and at one point this afternoon I was tempted to turn on the a/c but I resisted.
After school neighborhood kids were out riding their bikes and it felt like spring had arrived. It was nice to hear noise other than snow plows and garbage trucks.
Today was just a tease.
Mother Nature will once again plunge us back into winter but she gave us something to look forward to.
Has the weather been unseasonably nice where you are?

It's actually cold here this week - full sun but a cold wind - and that's enough cold for us 
. But it "looks" nice (it pretty much "looks" like this during our winters). They are telling us that next week we will have some rain - I will believe it when I see it!

It was 60's and 70's here this week also then we got 3 inches of snow on Thursday. Next week it will be back in 40 and 50's also. I can't wait for spring to arrive.

I like so much the early days of spring. I think this is one of the best part of the year.
Here it is winter. It was snowing one day, then raining the other. I have no idea what I will see today when I leave the flat.

In Europe, they like summer and the same is not true in Asia and Africa. As Geoff Boycott, the famous English commentator once said: "I love India. India is so gorgeous, so much sunshine... no gloomy mornings". But ask an Indian and he will vent "I just lovveeee the English weather!" You know, when you are on one side of the river, the other side is a gold mine!

70 sounds divine. My world has suddenly turned to winter and I go out in a down jacket. The roads are fine so I am not griping, just noting that it was about 10 above this morning.

Its been in the 50s here off and on since december. I hate it as winter is supposed to be cold, not warm or hot and mother nature is going to mess the world up big time if she keeps screwing with the seasons temps.

We made records today! 85 degrees at my house and 80 at the rental, Yes the a/c is on, Tony needs the colder air to breathe.
