I could not explain what I was trying to say in the title so will explain here. 'Someone gave me the idea to ask this like someone gave me the idea to ask if our furry ones have nicknames that we call them. Do you feel that some movies or shows should not have sequels to them and should have just been the original and that is it? I have wanted sequels to some things but others I think should be left alone and not touch it.

I'm usually disappointed by sequels after loving the original so much.

There are some movies that don't need sequels to them, and others do. Usually those that do, are set up for a sequel in the movie, so you have expectations for another movie. The Harry Potter series is a good example of needing the next movie or book.

Depends on what you like, I watch shows on the TV that have sequels and enjoy them.

There seem to be few few sequels that are as good as the original movie (Godfather 2 is considered a rare exception). One of the problems is that viewers already know the characters so the there is less to surprise them.

Sometimes sequels are disappointing after seeing the first one.
