I have been struggling with paying attention to long surveys and writing on my freelance website today. So I decided to just put my focus on here and Slice the Pie for my online time today. Slice the Pie doesn't take too much attention because the reviews are short and concise and don't really take a whole lot of effort to get it done. I've done two so far in the last five or ten minutes and got ten cents each for them. While that isn't a huge amount of money, ten cents for a four sentence review is okay in my book. I want to try to get to where I can cash out with them before the end of the month. But we will see.

@akalinus Yes, that is the only option for getting paid by them.

It sounds interesting. Will check it out. What kinds of things do you review?

All kinds of different things. Right now the options are for music, brands and commercials.

@thislittlepennyearns I am too old to qualify for surveys on Swagbucks and other sites. Would my opinion count on Slice?

@akalinus There's no survey on slice the pie. Its all reviews. you listen to music and review it, or watch a commercial and review it. Etc.

Yeah, although I did get four to six of the bonus reviews in today, so they were worth ten cents a piece instead of the regular 3-6 cents.

That does sound like easy money for short reviews. I did surveys on Toluna, MyPoints, Swagbucks, inbox dollars and global test market today. I was only able to compete a few to earn points as most I was not a good match.

How hard is it to earn on those sites? I've been in a lot but there would be 2 things about it, either I don't qualify or points never get credited lol. I've been in those great reviews paid for surveys sites for a long time but never got credited lol. I think my account is either deactivated or just sitting there lol.

I have trouble with coming up with useful reviews. When I worked at a college radio station, we were required to pick one of the new CDs that came in, listen to it, and write a review every week (so the other DJs would have an idea of what songs were recommended to airplay, which songs had profanity, and what other bands to compare it to). I discovered some interesting (and some bad) music that way, but coming up with a new review every week was a little stressful... especially since I really wanted to say "this is an awful band, I didn't like a single song, please throw it away" on some of them.
