The rating used to be PG - 13, so I guess they've just removed the parental guidance part. After all, I was browsing for adult images on the internet when I was 12... and those go way beyond an adult movie! 13 used to be the adult age when life expectancy was really short. In biology, we classify most things as being adult when they can reproduce, though with humans there is a maturity process that is taken into account. Some people mature very early. Some people take many years to get beyond their innocence. I think parents should probably monitor a teen's mental frame of mind before they just embrace the freedom of discovery all at once.

Yeah I've done that too when I was young, but there's still "fear" of watching, but nowadays they allowed 13 years old.. It's so hard to monitor them specially we're not aware what they see or hear when they're not on our side..

I don't think it is right for 13 years old teenagers to watch adult movies. 13 years old are still very young to tell what's wrong and right. They shall still watch their own teenager movies.

@youless I already forgot what happened when they do the changes, but I guess lots of parents complain, and they just reply “it’s your responsibility as a parents to look over for your children”

I don't know, It usually show on cinema's right now, that the minimum parental guidance is - 13 above, and when I watched the movie it has lots of kissing scene's which is for me it isn't appropriate for kids.

@rakski Yeah that is the best thing that we can do right now, outside house - lots of destruction, so we should take care for our children..

@tech40 Oh really? It is a good thing we are not a movie goer. We usually watch it online. So I can still have a preview of it before letting my children watch it

When things are forbidden, they may be more interesting for the young ones than when they're allowed.

Well, it is not new to me because even my 10-year-old cousin is watching it and of course the parents are okay with that as well. Looks like kids nowadays can access the internet easily by typing the word.

@tech40 Yeah. That is why I configure the restriction setting of my Internet connection so that my niece and nephews won't access them.
