Afternoon naps

The last few days, I've been a little more tired. So, what I've been doing is just laying down on the couch, closing my eyes, and resting. They haven't been long. Maybe 20-30 minutes. But it has still been really nice. I've actually enjoying taking those little naps/rests. I can afford to do it, when my kids are at school and daycare, which is when I usually feel the need for a power nap.
Honestly, I may just keep the habit of doing it, if and when I'm home and not working. It definitely does help me.

I've been really fatigued lately, and I'm pretty sure it's because of the heavy amounts of pollen in the air. It's allergy season for us here in Florida, and the pollen is so thick it covers everything like a blanket. I think my body is working overtime to keep up with the antibodies to fight the pollen allergies, which is what is causing my fatigue. Unfortunately, pollen season for us will stretch well into May.

Had an afternoon nap yesterday during my day off. It was an extended nap, hardly a nap at all. Slept at 9am then woke up at 12 noon but then I went back to sleep. Finally woke up at 2pm.

@dodo19 true. Right now, getting quality sleep is high on my to do list. I'll gladly miss events just so I can get enough quality sleep.

@allen0187 Sometimes, it's better to miss some events and get some good sleep.

Those, what I call power naps, are great. Give me the energy to make it through the rest of the evening/day.

I think with little kids you really need those naps. I would say nap away!

Power naps don't work for me as they often trigger headaches.
