I just cant understand....losing someone we love is too hard to forget, the coping and overcoming the sorrows...moving on and everything....with the suffering of all these pains, why do we have to remember their death anniversary ...others even celebrate it...why can't we just remember their birthdays or any of their other special occasion...why such painful event should be remembered!?

Well.. you don't have to remember it. Its a choice. I personally remember them, because i miss my loved ones and still hurt from losing them. I do not however celebrate them on those days, thats what their birthdays are for.

if you don't want to, then don't. if you want to commemorate it differently, then do it that way.
