She is so silly!

Who? Well, Opal of course.
We have a dozen different types of cat toys in the front room, since I have her locked in there at night, because I want her to be able to eat her "baby" food without any help from the older cats.
Even Onyx, who is 2 weeks older, is still quite a bit bigger, so doesn't really need the kitten formula food.
Even so, what does Opal prefer to play with?
Paper trash and she's not too fussy about it. An empty straw wrapper, a crumpled up bit of paper, candy wrapper, just about anything if its paper.
And if she isn't happy with where that bit of trash is, she'll pick it up and carry it to where she wants to play with it.
This morning, she dropped it into the cat litter.
This evening, she found that same bit of paper, carried it over to my desk, then chased it across the room.
Its so cute, but so silly, and I guess we can save on cat toys if that's what she wants to play with.
Of course, there are other cats who want to play with the toys we get, so its not entirely going to waste!

Cat love paper bits and always prefer a paper bag or string to toys.

I guess the cat is trying to pick up the paper trash and not be a litter bug, lol. My cat loved chasing string. She also loved to hide in paper shopping bags.

I am happy Opal appreciates to play with any sort of paper. My cat loves to play with our curtains.. she loves to catch it with her paws and swing from there. Mom often gets mad when she caught Tigerbum do the act. lol

Opal is such a pretty little fur baby! Every cat has their own personality and Opal loves to play with paper. Once when I bought home groceries I l put the paper bag on the floor after I put away the groceries. My cat, full grown male, who hated baths walked up to the bag sniffed it. He must have loved the smell of it, for he promptly jumped into the bag and started playing inside the paper bag. Cats are so cute!

I have tons of cat toys for my "poor deprived" cat Ouija...what does he like best? The cardboard paper strip one pulls off the case of Fancy feast cat food I get...oh and the empty toilet rolls...LOL

Well, Opal looks adorable and sound like a lot of fun. My cat Sid even at 12 still enjoyed romping about but is not too much into toys and never has been. He too loves paper now and then and will grab at things like belts and string hanging down. He loves jumping in and out of boxes. Sid knows how things are in the cat world and sends Opal sincere meows.
