India vs. America

In India, you would see snake once in 10 years (its been 20 years since I saw one - it was gray Cobra, young one...terrified of humans all around, and well, not where you'd expect it to be). In India, you won't get to see tigers, lions, giraffes, deers, bears, and other animals in 40 years unless you have a kid in your family whom you dutifully take to zoo as once in a lifetime obligation. In India, you would find a lot of stray dogs..wait a minute, they are stray dogs, but they have owners. How then are they stray dogs? I don't know. They are called stray dogs because they roam the streets impregnating any female ones before they are caught and neutered. In India cats are rare. People do not think cats are good pets. They think cats bring bad luck. These are just some points. The most important one is, India will beat America hollow in cricket for the next 10 years.

I see snakes every year. I saved a baby milk snake from a cold water stream last week. The poor thing was freezing. I picked it up and put it by a tree in a sunny spot. I hope it's okay. Last year, I saw an adult Milk snake that was about 4 feet long. I saved a smaller one (2 feet long) from getting run over by the tractor. It was thankful. When swimming, water snakes just go past me without either of us getting scared of the other (one went over my lap once while I was sitting on a rock). Fortunately, the venomous snakes don't live where I do. They live 20 miles south though. XD

Oh snakes are offered prayers but when we see one, we will kill one. That day I felt sorry for the cobra snake.

@vandana7 Have you heard of the belief that if we kill a snake its partner snake will find us and kill in revenge?

@vandana7 Well, it's a different story when the snakes can kill you. Although, the snakes south of here can do that, but they aren't allowed to be killed out of season. They are rattlesnakes, so they let you know when you happen to be too close to them!

I have no issues. Love anyway it comes. Dogs I tend to trust more but that may be because I have not known cats.

Well many Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi people have started playing cricket in US, so we can't forecast for the full next 10 years. But of course, teams of Afghanistan, Nepal etc are catching up faster in cricket and so is Holland.
