Good Morning 2/23

Well, mystery shop day today. I have to go deep into the heart of Richmond to do this one but I think I am going to take an alternative route to get there. It is going to be a bit out of the way..but honestly, it makes me nervous to go through all those high traffic areas. I do have a transponder now that I can use to take care of the tolls..but I would rather not deal with them. Do you ever go an alternative route to get somewhere, even though there is a faster way? Have a good one today! I was trying to post pics of the kitty on here last night..but my equipment was not cooperating..not sure why..hmm.

When traffic is high here drivers cut corners and even drive longer distances to get to their destination. It's only the fuel that might be a cost. At least they saved some time.

Yeah this way was a bit longer but it is a decent trade off. I have arrived with unfrazzled nerves.

Enjoy your mystery shopping today. It never used to bother me driving in high traffic areas but lately I seem to look for alternate routes that aren't so congested.

Yes, I don't like congestion..it is the worst in the morning and evening of course..during rush hour times. I hate having time deadlines and having to drive thru heavy traffic.

@Marty1 my special spy garb and tools! Sometimes you do have to take a disguised recorder or camera..but my last "video" shop was a bust..so..I prefer the more straight forward ones.

I am extremely nervous of toll roads so I avoid them at all costs. I've driven a half hour out of the way the past summer to avoid one.
