Do people write fiction here on MyLot?
I know I've seen a few short stories, covered in the entirety in 1 posting.
And I think I've seen a post that @JudyEv did that took several 5 or 6 posts "chapters" long which was a lot of fun.
But what do you guys think? I've been toying with the idea of writing fiction, but ... of course I want to write what people want to read and I find myself questioning if this is the best platform for it.
What do you guys think?

I think fiction is fine here but if it were me, I'd be keeping the posts really short. Most people don't seem to want longer stories. But all you can do is try. The fiction I've put up has had some nice comments and I'm sure yours would too.

@FayeHazel I was once going to write a western story about a rancher and who knew about Hadrian's Wall and wanted to build one to block a pass through the mountains where Indian raiding parties were coming through to steal cattle and all that raider stuff.
That was maybe 20 years ago, might be timely now.

Well, what you can get here is some good discussion to know if people like what you are writing. You can start with some short stories and see how it goes.
