Weird Week, Weird Day

We have had two days off this week because of the ice. Then we have a variety of staff out, due to illness, injury and two with family deaths.
One staff from our room went with a friend to Washington D.C. for a military recognition.
We do not have enough substitutes.
I am glad today is over, and that we had a student out as well.
With any luck the weather will warm up, the staff will be able to come back to work. So will the students.
Meanwhile, we went to visit family. It was time.

My supervising teacher has had to fly to Oregon, her dad passed. She expects to be gone all week.

Here we are in the deep freeze with temps in the minuses day and night. Outside the sun is shining but nothing is melting. I am so waiting for spring to come but it seems I will have to wait until the second half of March.

@GardenGerty It certainly is. I am going over my notifications this morning Feb 26 and outside it is -12 C or 11 F so you can see I am not a happy camper.

I try to go every month to see my family as my dad is becoming more forgetful of things and he is living with my brother. It was a little warmer in Oklahoma.
