My garden abloom. / myLot

The state of my garden was dreadful a fortnight ago. The water pump motor malfunctioned. So I was as surprised, after consistent sprinkling, the flowers blossomed abundantly. Dwarf santan adorn the fence wall, while in a corner, the scent of the rosal pervades the nostril. There's periwinkle and sweet angel, wildflowers which I have failed to identify, and amarillos and verdes all around, I am in my element always, after a fresh breather from my lovely garden.

we have gumamela (hibiscus) and i like that they bloom every day. when you mention water pump, do you lose water also when there's a brownout?

I have a huge tank that can last a week. However, since I water my plants generously everyday, I have to switch the pump on everyday, too. But rarely do we get blackouts now, do we? Oh yes, the multi-petaled red gumamela is at the center of my garden, to the envy of many a passers-by. They were the ones who said that. I am not at all inclined to give them stems for planting. My gumamela is for my pleasure first. The flowers are offered to Mama Mary every morning, and Her Son, our Lord Jesus.

@hereandthere Oh, my classmates are stingy. They do not give. Not all, though. The older people are the ones who share. They even give me pointers on how to care for the plants. I share my pandan and my violets and fortune plants come rainy season. The sensitive ones, I plant in pots for giving, like the rosal and the hibiscus. Your friends are nicer. You, too.
