Hello friends, No i am not saying any remedies infact i want to know some. One of my relative went for eye test and doctor told him that he have cataract , but i think its in early stage .The doctor did not stress or strongly recommend surgery. He said if he want then the patient can go for surgery and he suggested some specs. Now i have a doubt as the doctor did not strongly recommend surgery it may not be serious or any home remedies may help ..or what precautions can be taken Can anyone suggest any remedies for curing cataract without surgery..or any suggestions ....

Carrots and peppers may be healthy but your cataract will remain.

Cataracts have to be mature before the surgery. No natural remedy will get rid of them. Do you know that one can become blind if not treated?

you need not worry about them dear @prashu228 ! I have got both my eyes operated for surgery which is not a big deal! no body goes bling all of a sudden ....one can understand when their vision is getting impaired and a visit to an eye doctor will tell the story if the surgery is needed immediately or not! Thanks!

I've had surgery on both eyes because of cataracts. Cataracts can't be cured with any 'remedies'. But if the doctor discovers it, he or she doesn't advise surgery at once. The eye is only operated on when the cataract is 'mature', that means when it has reached a certain stage. This can happen after some months or a year. This period is bad, you can't see well but it's too early for an operation. As it seems, your relative's doctor is not an idiot but knows what he's talking about.

My aunt had a cataract and had it taken out through surgery. My father has it too but refused to undergo surgery since needles is his weakness.

Now we don't have to use needles in cataract surgery dear @renicemae! Just a few drops in the eye and the surgery is completed within few minutes! Thanks!

Yes dear @prashu228 there are some very good medicines available for cataract and as per experience they work as I had a foal (Baby horse) born with congenital cataract and by using this medicine (meant for human beings) today I have with me with more or less good view and I am sure he can race even ! Thanks!

Its always better to use any medication under the supervision of an expert dear @prashu228 ! So just ask your uncle to visit a Homeopathy doctor and let the doctor decide! Thanks!

thank you..so surgery is not complicated . what i was thinking is , the doctor did not recommend surgery strongly , doctor said if patient is not going for surgery then he will prescribe specs, ..that means its in early stage right?

@AKRao24 Thank you, but we have to visit the homeopathy doctor and should check with him whether he prescribes it or not..we cannot simply buy it on our own?

Eat a lot of vitamin A related fruits, carrots are mostly recommended. But I would suggest moringa, which probably cheaper.

For cataracts, there is really no cure but have it removed when it os matured. Some docotra give eye drops to slow thw roceaa of marurity.
