I used to go at at these people's house for our holidays and I did not feel comfortable or really welcome there so because I had nothing to offer to their conversation I hate more than I wanted to. I do not eat that much at home. Even's someone's house I went to I hate too much and on the bus ride home I felt sick. I prefer to eat at home then I if over eat here then I can just take something to feel better. I try not to overeat here. So, have any of you felt that you overate at someone's home and do not overeat at your own?

When I’m at someone else’s home I usually tend to eat less. I’m a picky eater and usually the choices I don’t like them. I often eat ahead a little.

@Hannihar then I’d excuse myself and say I ate already so I only eat a little. Sometimes I get an upset stomach too.

@infatuatedbby In my area it's usually seen as a sign of good upbringing to say you've eaten already.

I hardly go to others homes, and when I do, I don't usually eat. Either because I'm just there to chat for a short period of time or because I'm a picky eater and don't eat others home cooking, oe whatever they order.

I am glad for you that you eat less at someone's home. Have to been to a place where because you could not join in the conversation so you ate?

DJ, the food was the only thing good. They were nice people but I just did not feel comfortable.
