Haiku: A Few More

Haiku is one of my favorite things to read and to write.
I hope you like Haiku
Yellow, white, blue and red
Colors dancing in my head
Quilts upon my bed.
Dogs are man's best friend
But cats are popular too
And what about pigs?
Distant shores called men
By this we inhabit Earth
Each one finds his place

@IreneVincent I like to grade papers in bed and pretend to be Mark Twain, dictating his later stories from bed.

I enjoy haiku but don't really write one because you have to count syllables. Not good at that. I like yours though. Thanks for sharing.

@lovebuglena Very few, I have learned, understand Haiku, but I really love it. I write other poetry too.
