This year our farm imported two brood mares from Ireland and they arrived last night to India. The two horses arrived in Qatar cargo flight and they were accompanied by a professional groom who handed over the horses to us at air port. Having complete the formalities it was almost the morning time when these horses reached quarantine center where they will be kept for 30 days before leaving them after conducting all the required tests. Thus the last might was a tough one , but at the end all is well that ends well , so no complaints and we are happy! How was your time last night? Thanks!

Yes we have good falcilities for horses like good stables with bedding material, clean water and area for out door exercise etc. We keep our own persons who are grooms and take care of these horses there. We pay nominal fee prescribed by the Government to avail this facility! Thanks dear @LadyDuck!

Did you get to meet the horses and give them some love? I can only stand being in an airplane for so long.

We need to talk with them and fondle and caress them to take into confidence and to make them feel home which we always do with any new horse coming to us including the new born baby! Thanks dear friend @TheHorse! I appreciate for your concern for the horses as this is a very vital thing to receive any new horse! Thanks!

@AKRao24 Yes! A happy horse makes me happy. What do you use for "treats" there? Here we use "Apple Wafers," which are small crunchy cookies. I ate one and it was boring to me (in human form), but horses love them. Of course most horses also love carrots and apples.
