Signs of Spring ...

I love the splashes of spring colour... although the air is still very wintery, at minus 2 today ... but...  the sun is out and the sky is blue... and all around, I can see daffodils and crocuses, two of my favourite flowers ... I'm back in the uk for another two week work placement  and looking forward to taking some more photos of spring as it blossems... what about you... ?  any signs of spring for you... or are you all still in the throws of a very white winter... ?

Signs of Spring? It's snowing here today and it is very VERY cold. I have crocuses and hellebore in bloom, they love the snow.

@sueznewz2 It is snowing from two days and those are the coldest days of the whole winter. We had been warned.

We can see some patches of grass in some places, but we do still have quite a bit of snow.

We don't have any bulbs, but it won't be long and the crocus will be up. Today is quite mild, if you are out of the wind, its a windy day here.

@sueznewz2 Yes, I've read about the Siberian cold air that has moved your way. I hope that it turns around soon and goes back home. We are expecting a nasty storm to begin later on today. It will begin as rain, but the temperatures will drop and then it will turn to ice and then snow, and we are in line to get a lot of snow. Ugh

Beautiful pictures. We're still in the throes of winter, though it's gotten wicked lately giving us ice storms, making it very dangerous. Thankfully today the latest ice storm is gone and the ice is melted.

@sueznewz2 I hope it warms up for you soon. I never know what to expect here. Our snow is mostly melted now due to warmer temps the last couple days. There's only patches of it here and there.

today was so strange, I was out in short sleeves and sandals then byt his evening while watching my sons soccer game it totally switches. A store came threw the wind kicked up, it started raining and I had to graba coat from the car.
