Yepper, I actually bought myself a Christmas tree last year, it was not very big and only had a little bit of decor on it but I loved it because it was alive.
In fact, it still lives only now it is in my yard.
I used Ally as a measuring type of guide, she is at least 50 pounds and stands about as tall as a medium size German Shepherd.
As you can see in the three pictures above Ally is not very co operative when it comes to getting her picture taken.
Those are the best shots I got out of the 7 I took.
So what do you think of my little Christmas tree?

I had no idea you can replant a Christmas tree. Looks nice. How long before it could grow into a mature tree?

It was only a foot tall with roots and in a small pot of moss. It was intended to be replanted.

Ally is shy of fronting shot.I like the humorous account of Ally' behaviour in the pictures.

It probably was, it only had a red bow and one of those stick in the dirt kinda things that had a painted bell on one end, it was kinda cute.

I put a thick layer of pine shavings all around the root base which also covers the bottom of the trunk and some of the lower portions of the branches @cintol so far it's held it's own and hopefully last night was the last time we got freezing cold overnight, it's been up to the 70s in the afternoons lately so hopefully the temps will begin to climb.
