Don't keep dead watches in the house the bring bad luck to you. Have you ever heard about this statements from anyone. I have a dead watch of my late father which is suggested to be either repaired or to get rid of it by my closed ones. That watch was my dad's favorite and have kept it as it is since he passed away. The fact of the watch is it stopped working exactly the same night that my dad passed away. Now it might be a coincidence or it might be what the people have to say. Image:- Credit Pixabay.

All this is superstitious nonsense. You can fill a whole book with it. Every country has something to offer.

@thehousewife Goody! Let's fight all this superstitious nonsense together. I've just read that you're in mortal danger if you hurt or kill a black cat. Goodness gracious!

Yes, that could be the case dear @nitirrbb7 ! On the contrary had been in your place then I would have kept this watch with me as father's memento! Thanks!

@nitirrbb7 I have Mickey Mouse watches that I am given every year by several people, when I moved we found all of them and believe me, there are probably 40 watches up there and of those 4 are still running so yes, I think its a MYTH although I have had quite a bit of bad luck over the years. Maybe I should put new batteries in them and see if my luck changes huh?

@cintol I wish you all the luck in the world my friend, it would be good if you battery those watches and give them to kids who can't afford one. They will surely bless you with all the happiness in the world, if you feel so

If you consider it as a memory and at the same time superstition haunts you then I suggest you to repair it and keep the same. I don't believe such superstitions, sadly bad things spread fast and people used to believed the same.
